I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is looking for an exciting and entertaining game starring one of the greatest sleuths of all time, Nancy Drew. It has everything a Nancy Drew game ought to have - an intriguing story, interesting characters, lovely sets, good music, moments that get your heart pounding, and plenty of German lore (including Brothers Grimm stories) woven into the plot. Overall, I'm giving "The Captive Curse" 5 out of 5 stars. Other players may well find this one easier and shorter than I did.
